The Lorraine C. Schrieber Memorial Fund
The Lorraine C Schrieber Memorial fund has been established to fund medical treatments and surgeries for rescue dogs in need. In 1999, Lorraine C. Schrieber started the Burlington County Animal Alliance with a few volunteers. Over the years, this small rescue has grown and, in the process, saved the lives of thousands of animals.
Lorraine touched so many lives including her family, her friends, her volunteers, every animal that she has helped save, and every family that brought home a rescued animal. Lorraine’s compassion knew no bounds and she never gave up on even the sickest of animals. She would make sure sick or injured animals received the best care possible regardless of the cost. Lorraine helped thousands of animals escape euthanasia and gave them a second chance in foster homes, looking to ultimately settle them in a permanent family.
In honor of Lorraine’s work as an animal advocate, we would like to continue her legacy by accepting donations to fund medical treatments and surgeries for rescue animals in Burlington County and surrounding areas. If you can donate money to us, we will spend it like Lorraine would and put the animals first.
Thank you Lorraine for your passion and advocacy! We will continue your life's work, in your memory!
