Goal

Our Wildlife Team continues to have growing momentum in protecting Wisconsin’s wildlife. We advocate for policy that protects our wildlife, including keystone species like wolves and beavers. We also highlight the ecological value provided by these species through educational outreach, including social media, film screenings, letters to the editor, and our annual educational campaigns around International Beaver Day in April, Endangered Species Week in May, and Wolf Awareness Week in October. Join us to help protect these amazing animals.

Recent Win:
We continue to have a significant voice in Wisconsin’s wolf management policies. Through our advocacy, Wisconsin established a wolf management plan that is based in science and created in consultation with the Tribes. Recently, a member of our team was granted a position on the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources’ Wolf Advisory Committee to represent us. We continue to help farmers secure funding to prevent livestock conflicts with predators by using non-lethal techniques.

Please consider donating $5, $25, $50 or more to help us reach our goal of $3,000.

As an added thank you, those who donate more than $10 will receive a past year’s Wolf Awareness Week sticker, as we gear up for 2025 Wolf Awareness Week, the week of October 19.
