Goal

Life depends on clean water. Our team is dedicated to preserving Wisconsin’s water quality and quantity. We are unafraid to take on major polluters and to advocate for the best water protections possible. In the past few years we have:

  • Followed local fights against CAFOs (Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations) and advocated for strong regulations and protections where appropriate

  • Followed state and federal activities regarding PFAS protections

  • Invested in public education, through film screenings, Lunch and Learns, and outreach to communities around the state

  • Kept our eye on water-related legislation, particularly to play defense against damaging proposals

  • Supported clean drinking water protections in the state budget.

Help support our advocacy for clean, plentiful water.

The Sierra Club Water Team has done great work to raise awareness about many issues related to the preservation of water quality. They have added Lunch and Learns this last year and they have been really helpful for community members as well as team members. I am proud to be associated with this organization.
