About Lindsay
In high school and college, Lindsay was actively involved in her church and her community, going on several mission trips in NC and abroad, building structures and building relationships. You loved her as soon as you saw her smile or heard her laugh, and she embodied all the character traits of the IB program. She was a friend to all she met.
Lindsay was a graduate of the inaugural Reidsville High School International Baccalaureate class in 1999, and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in English and Women’s Studies at UNC Chapel Hill. She then earned a Masters of Education in Higher Education Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from NC State University. She used her education to work at both UNC-CH and Appalachian State University.
Lindsay was the true embodiment of the educational and student development power the IB Program at Reidsville High School brings to our thoughtful, creative, determined, and beloved students. Though we lost Lindsay on October 25, 2010, she is forever a bright light who will continue to shine on the Reidsville IB program through this annual scholarship.
