This is one of the most complex cases that I think this hospital is seen in sometimes she gets better than she backtracks and now she is better again she’s setting up in a chair she is without her narcotics she’s more fluid in her thinking and we are hoping that this is just the continuation of good progress so thank you all again for your donations and your prayers sister was making progress than we went backwards. She is now back on breathing tube and fighting pneumonia. Also, her heart stopped, and they had to do CPR. Headed back there today. Please pray for complete recovery. Thank you all for your prayers and support it means the world to our family Update sister is awake and alert and no more breathing tube doctors are baffled we think it’s a miracle thank you for praying!!! An Update! Our Sister Linda Bode was medically flown today from Canada to Chicago. Your donations have helped make this a possibility. She had a heart attack in Canada while visiting her eldest son and his family. She has now been in the intensive care unit for over a week. She’s going to need a heart operation as her mitral valve is severely damaged. Her son Paul Bode has booked a medical flight for her to return to Chicago where she has lived for well over 40 years for additional treatment at Northwestern University Hospital. This medical transport is NOT covered by insurance and will cost $25,000. She will have the necessary surgery performed in Chicago and will hopefully have the opportunity to recover in her home with the support of her children, grandchildren, other family and friends who live in Chicago. As she has been in ICU this past week, this medical transport will be a tenuous trip as she is very fragile. I am asking for you to consider donating to my sister's fundraiser to offset this untimely and very expensive medical transport. Any and all donations are appreciated. All monies will go to pay for this medical transport and other medical expenses not covered by insurance.
