Our mission is simple: Present thoughtful, innovative, and entertaining films to Philadelphia audiences as a means of fostering community and expanding cultural literacy. With roots dating back to the 1970s we’re proud to be Philadelphia’s original neighborhood cinema. Over the years, Lightbox has managed to adapt to various challenges and opportunities. All the while, we’ve maintained a consistent vision.
