Light a Virtual Candle

The International Wave of Light in October, and our upcoming Lights of Love Holiday Carol Service in December, provides Gardens of Grace with a unique opportunity to further raise awareness about the issues surrounding pregnancy and baby loss in Nova Scotia. As we know the death of a baby is not rare. Every week in Nova Scotia an average of two babies are stillborn or die shortly after birth, meaning another family is faced with the devastation of the death of their baby and their hopes and dreams for the future shattered.

Gardens of Grace is determined to make a real difference to the lives of bereaved families throughout the Maritimes.

With your support we will be able to work at supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby, improving bereavement care and promoting awareness.

The funds generated from these Wave of Light candles will enable us to initiate and advance efforts for a variety of bereavement supports for anyone affected by the death of a baby, no matter how long ago.

Each candle lit in memory of a precious and much wanted baby, will be supporting our vision of a world where families can feel free to talk openly about their baby without those taboos that surround loss, and helping to ensure that every bereaved family, wherever they live in the Maritimes, have access to every possible support to help them through the loss of their child.

Every penny raised will make a real and lasting difference to the lives of bereaved families.

Your gift will light a virtual candle at Gardens of Grace's website. Please state name and/or candle color preferred in the comment area of the form(pink, blue or white candle).
