I had chemotherapy at the LRI in 2009 shortly after I was diagnosed with cancer. I will be eternally grateful as I feel the timely treatment alongside 2 years of other cancer treatments at Leicester hospitals saved my life. The chemotherapy suite was overcrowded even then. I can’t imagine the extra stress of being treated for cancer during covid times. Good luck with the campaign and positive thoughts and virtual hugs to you Jon.

You have been treating my granddaughter for leukaemia Alyssa Tapley and we have held a garage safari in my village and raised £240 for your unit.
