Goal
In order to make a difference we rely on the support of generous individuals and businesses in our community. Your support is critically important to the operation of our College Conference and our other transition programs and we will gladly keep you updated regarding how our programs and your contribution specifically have impacted those we have served. We are a volunteer-run and volunteer-powered organization, so every dollar you donate goes directly to costs associated with the program design, production, and management.
Our College Planning and Transition Conference is one of the few in the nation that is designed specifically for students with learning differences and where neurodiversity is celebrated. As a 501(c)(3) social impact non-profit, we believe that it is critically important that innovation drive both our educational programming and our business model. It is for that reason that this conference is in so many ways a bold expression of not only the type of organization Let’s Talk LD is, but also how we place being good stewards at the center of all that we do.
This year’s College Conference will reprise the immensely popular and powerful ltldTalks College Transition panel discussion featuring former and current college students with learning differences who will discuss their compelling college transition journeys. In addition, our impressive cadre of almost 50 post-secondary and college transition thought leaders and experts will be sharing their insights about college planning and transition best practices specifically for students with learning differences, their families, and the clinical, therapeutic, and educational professional who support these students. Tremendous thought is poured into who is featured at the Conference. We are proud of the fact that each presenter brings fresh perspectives, interesting ideas, and in some cases innovative approaches in how we should think about the Post-Secondary Education journey for students with learning differences and their families.
Let’s Talk LD is built on a collaborative model, both in terms of organizational structure and culturally. As such, we partner and work year-round to build constructive and conciliatory strategic partnerships with like-minded educators, education specialists, service providers, and community and social change organizations to create and to promote meaningful opportunities for enriching the academic, social, and extracurricular lives of youth with learning differences. We believe that what makes Let’s Talk LD different is that it recognizes that by welcoming educators, education specialists, service providers, and community and social change organizations to the table, an opportunity is created for real and transformational change to occur in how youth with learning differences are served, particularly in the area of transition services.
Know that your generosity will have real meaning and impact!
Thank you so very much in advance for your kind consideration. As a 501(c)(3) social impact non-profit corporation (public charity), under the Internal Revenue Code (IRC), donors can deduct contributions under IRC 170. Please consult a tax professional.
