Let’s Rebuild Jamaica Yard by Yard: Hurricane Melissa Relief

Today 55% of Jamaica is still without power and even more without water. Thousands more are displaced from their homes. In the place hardest hit by Hurricane Melissa, the parish of St. Elizabeth, 90% of homes are destroyed. 

We are asking for your help because families need food, water, shelter, and emergency supplies NOW. Your donation is sent directly to Jamaica to help our island recover, yard by yard. 

Leaf of Life Youth Rising, founded by Jamaican reggae artist Leaf of Life, is mobilizing to provide immediate relief and long-term rebuilding support. 

This disaster is hitting close to home—Leaf of Life’s own family and friends in Jamaica are among those most affected, with some still unreachable in remote areas after Hurricane Melissa, the strongest storm on record to strike the island with 185 mph winds.
