Helping Hands is a Black-youth led organization working with low-income, newcomer, and racialized youth in the Greater Toronto Area. 

Our mission is to help young people get involved in their communities through volunteering. We promote volunteering as a catalyst for young people's success in school and career development.

We help students by...

• finding them volunteer opportunities at local nonprofits so they can complete their high school community involvement hours needed for graduation 
• running fun, educational workshops teaching employable skills through the lens of civic engagement 
• mentoring youth to start their own school clubs and community initiatives!
