Legal Defense For PDX Protester Being Prosecuted

On the night of the Derek Chauvin conviction, a protest occurred in downtown Portland, Oregon. The events that transpired during that protest have resulted in a Black antifascist protester facing charges for allegedly assaulting a Portland Police Bureau sergeant.

The video of this incident immediately went viral across various media outlets, and was praised by antifascists worldwide. In contrast to the eager reception this video received, this comrade’s case is still slowly working its way through the “justice” system. This protester has persisted in this legal battle amidst harassment and financial strain, and it is time for us to all lend a helping hand.

A talented team of attorneys have worked tirelessly on this case for months on end, thanks to the initial funds that were gathered nearly one year ago. Now, we need to see this through and support this comrade in their upcoming court battles.
