LEDC's 35th Anniversary Fundraiser

I joined the board of LEDC two years ago because the mission immediately resonated with me. LEDC supports small business owners and entrepreneurs across DC with access to capital, training, and hands-on guidance to help them grow and succeed.

What makes this work especially meaningful is how local the impact is. Many of the small businesses my local community, especially those along Mt. Pleasant Street—places we walk by, eat at, and rely on—have benefited directly from LEDC’s loans and support. It’s not abstract. It’s happening right here in our community.

As LEDC approaches its 35th anniversary, I’m helping raise funds to support the next generation of entrepreneurs and small business owners.

I've clearly been talking about it enough that my dear friend Jessie Brown got involved too!  She she joined the host committee for the 35th anniversary gala happening this summer. Together we are fundraising for this incredible organization.  If you’re able, we’d be incredibly grateful for a contribution of any size. Every dollar helps someone start or grow a business, build stability, and strengthen our local economy.
