Lawrence Adams Scholarship Fund

Lawrence Lee Adams (aka Bird) accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.  After graduating from High School, he obtained both a Bachelor’s and Masters degree from Western Kentucky where he became one of the founding members of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Episolon, Rho Chapter.  He was a proud Christian and Kappa man and always a proponent of higher education.  He was proud that he encouraged his two daughters to further their education and become successful in their respective careers.  This annual scholarship is in honor of him in hopes to further the education of either a Member of Antioch Baptist Church OR a Member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity at Western Kentucky University.
