Goal

For nearly 25 years, LAWCHA has fostered public and scholarly awareness of labor and working-class history through research, writing and organizing, while strengthening ties among academics, public historians and the broader labor movement.

As higher education institutions faces fiscal uncertainty, and the Humanities and Social Sciences especially are under attack, the LAWCHA Endowment Fund will build a strong and independent foundation, vital to LAWCHA's future as a community and as an organization prepared to continue our important work as scholars and activists.

Donations by credit card or ACH payment can be made using this fundraising page.

If you would like to donate by check, please send it to LAWCHA, 323 S. Lombard Ave., Oak Park, IL 60302. If you would like to make a stock donation please contact our Treasurer, Liesl Orenic at lorenic@dom.edu.  Thank you!

The Labor and Working Class History Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Gifts to LAWCHA are tax deductible. Please contact a tax professional for guidance in deducting your donation.
