Lavender Whitaker for Castro Valley Unified School District
Lavender Whitaker was elected to the Castro Valley School Board in November of 2016. In 2019, she was appointed President of the Board. President Whitaker is currently seeking re-election in the November 2020 General Election.
Funds not used for the campaign will be donated to the Castro Valley Education Foundation in honor of the Nicholas "Dubb" Whitaker Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is meant to honor Lavender's late husband and to support young and emerging leaders in our community.
