Latrine Project
Global Partnerships Inc, will be returning to Ghana in April 2019 to embark on an extremely important project. During our last visit we conducted a needs assessment with several leaders in the Ada community. We collectively came to the conclusion that the island was in dire need of latrines. Our goal is to build a male and female latrine at the Azizakpe school then add five more throughout the community. After speaking with local companies they informed us that each unit would cost approximately $2000.
In addition to the latrine project we are continuing our educational initiative by supplying the school with necessary expendables and providing professional development for the staff and administration in best instructional practices. During our 2018 visit the headmaster indicated that they were able to provide supplies to 95% of their staff and students due to our support. We were also privileged to be a part of the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new well in the Ada community. I attribute the success of the 2018 well project to all who sacrificially supported our effort. If you find it in your heart, please consider supporting the 2019 latrine project.
