About Kol Am Brooklyn

Kol Am Brooklyn is a community of parents and caregivers who came together to ask — with our children — "How are we Jewish?"

We root our exploration in the values of humanism, secularism, and feminism, and we use art, music, dance, critical thinking, and storytelling as our tools for wondering and discovering together.

Passover Play

This spring, Kol Am Brooklyn invites children in grades K–5 to co-create a new theatrical experience reimagining the many stories of Passover. Over 9 Saturday sessions, children will make, move, sing, question, teach, write, and — of course — perform.

Each week, students explore themes from the Passover story through dance, visual art, music, storytelling, and collaborative work. Together, we'll build something new: a play shaped entirely by children's questions, creativity, and vision.
