Thomas Judd Care Center is thrilled to be a part of Kick Off Pride -- both as a sponsor and a team! It's important that we stand with Equality Michigan and Up North Pride in communicating the message that Northern Michigan welcomes all and that discrimination will not be tolerated. TJCC provides resources and cares for those living with HIV, offers prevention tools, and educates the region on staying safe. None of these efforts will be successful without community collaboration. We're here to win!     

The inaugural Pride Kickball Competition in Traverse City, a collaborative effort between Up North Pride and Equality Michigan, serves as a pivotal event for fostering community support and championing the cause of LGBTQ+ rights in Northern Michigan. 

This event isn't solely a celebration; it's an essential fundraiser that bolsters the ongoing efforts of these organizations throughout the year. Up North Pride's advocacy, educational initiatives, and community engagement activities create safe spaces and advocate for policies promoting equality and acceptance. Equality Michigan stands as a stalwart advocate for justice and nondiscrimination policies, providing critical resources and legal support to combat prejudice.
