About Us

Khala Academy is a non-profit revolutionary program grounded in over 10 years of educational business expertise. The organization is founded and run by Sahar Eldeeb.

MISSION

The mission of Khala Academy is to provide a safe and enjoyable high quality program that meets the needs of all children no matter what their cultural, educational, or socioeconomic backgrounds are. Our goal is that all children begin to develop a sense of who they are and develop a love for learning, our religion, and our community.

Khala Academy’s vision is to ensure every child’s emotional, physical, social, intellectual, and creative needs are met in a way that allows each child to feel empowered, get along with others, experience joy, and instill a natural curiosity about the world.

Please review our investments and progress, Khala Academy would like to graciously request for assistance to continue our vision of quality and personalized education. Through our program we have witnessed student growth in academics, respect and personal responsibility. We have further ambitions to achieve for student success, with your added support Khala Academy’s operational foundation can be secured. We are a non profit entity and only wish to provide an open, quality, teaching service not available to the San Joaquin County area.

Over the lifetime of Khala Academy, more than $75,000 has been invested into operational expenses. These investments covered building renovations, city & county permits, facility furniture, food and first aid kit, internal programs for Arabic and US studies, online programs for Arabic and US studies, outdoor equipment, security equipment, textbooks and educational materials, and Utilities expenses that cover electricity, internet, maintenance, rent, trash and water. Further, numerous hours have been invested to develop a working foundation.

Over the last months we have made adjustments to improve Khala Academy’s ability to provide effective and personalized teaching. Please review our implementations below:

Daily checklist of curriculum for each student implemented.

• Allows for transparency on student progress for all teaching staff.
• Allows for improved reporting from teaching staff.
• Promotes personal accountability for student.
• Parents/Guardians may verify student progress.

Corresponding daily schedule created and in practice.

• Time is organized and set for teaching Staff and students.
• Promotes student awareness on time management.
• Allows teaching staff to plan more efficiently.

Student & Staff Attendance Tracking.

Facility changes to improve teaching space and reduce operational costs.

Personalized US studies tutoring. (English, Math, Science, Social Studies)
