The Keycard Workshops
The Keycard Workshops is a pilot initiative to bring long-form games industry expert workshops to folks that would be interested in them, at an affordable price. With the exclusionary pricing alternative providers charge, this initiative aims to make access to expertise affordable and inclusive.
Each Keycard Workshop will seat up to fifty digital attendees, be hosted by an industry expert, and last four to six hours. By presenters' choice and depending on the nature of the subject and presentation, each Workshop might also be broadcast live to watch along, or be made (partially) available for on-demand viewing later.
Please note that any donation is not a purchase for a ticket, and that the event is not guaranteed to occur unless there is adequate interest. All funds collected here will go towards creating the early organization, infrastructure, and speaker fees. Any remaining funds will go towards tickets for developers that are unable to afford access to the workshops.
The Keycard Workshops are organized by Rami Ismail (Vlambeer, presskit(), gamedev.world) and produced by Myriame Lachapelle (gamedev.world, games-producer-for-hire)
