EMERGENCY UKRAINE REFUGEE RELIEF

As of March 31st, over 10 million Ukrainians have been displaced due to the ongoing violence there. The vast majority are women and children.

Children are terrified, in shock, and desperate for safety. They are being forced to seek refuge in subways and shelters, or to flee their homes to find safety either within Ukraine or in neighboring countries. UNICEF is on the ground in Ukraine, often traveling in armored convoys, providing urgently needed supplies and essential services, medical care, and psychosocial support to children suffering from trauma. They’re also establishing a network of “Blue Dot” child-friendly spaces along key travel corridors to provide critical support to children and families on the move: providing information, safe spaces for mothers and children, and the ability to identify unaccompanied and separated children and ensure their protection.

The worldwide children’s media industry and its audiences and fans stand with all Ukrainians under siege and particularly the vulnerable children victimized by this unfolding atrocity.

UNICEF has announced an emergency $348 million appeal to scale up its efforts to respond to the growing humanitarian needs across the country and the region.

We urge you to give generously. ALL PROCEEDS go to support UNICEF’s truly heroic efforts for displaced children and their families in Ukraine.

We are not helpless in this. Together we can make a real, concrete, difference in the lives of these vulnerable children and be a force of light against the terrible darkness they're living through right now.

Thank you very much.
