KEN DALY SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Urban Rugby America (URA) is completely humbled and inspired to honor Ken Daly's legacy of impact by launching the Ken Daly Scholarship Fund. Ken’s passion for service, leadership and community building is profoundly evident in his legacy in rugby, at Boston College and beyond. The impact of ‘Daly Scholarships’ will be felt in the lives of at-risk teens in lowincome communities for years to come.

National Impact with Case-by-Case Focus

College Scholarships: by adding a ‘Daly Scholarship’ to a students’ financial aid package, we will increase college persistence by reducing student debt, promoting academic achievement, and closing financial gaps for first-generation college students

Summer Enrichment: With years of successful UCSB Summer Experiences and a growing need for youth development opportunities during the summer, the scholarship committee will review applications for summer enrichment experiences.

High Performance Access: URA’s most talented rugby players may never get noticed by a college coach, MLR scout, or Olympic Evaluator if they can’t afford the camp, clinic, or opportunity to be seen. Daly Scholarships will help cultivate a brighter future on the field.

Responsive Case Management: Youth in poverty experience setbacks beyond their control more often than their affluent peers. The scholarship committee will review case-by-case applications when responsive funding is needed.
