Donate to the Keeping Digital Foundation
Who are we?
The Keeping Digital Foundation is a charitable organisation providing digital making activities to children and adults in North Yorkshire. We prove these through events, visits, workshops and our new free online Education page.
We also work on e-safety advice and support and how we can improve the current curriculum in schools.
We don’t receive funding or grants from the government and we rely on donations from the general public, like you.
We also manage the MakerFest Group (including York MakerFest) and York CoderDojo.
Where does the money go?
We’re glad you asked…
- Money goes to venue costs
- Money goes to equipment costs to improve our services
- Money goes towards printing of resources and advice and support
- Money goes to website maintenance
Our volunteers all get no financial benefits from our events, and we love what we do but we cannot do it without your help, our finances are limited too. Why not pay £2 a week from your usual morning commute coffee since the shops are closed?
Supporting our future.
At the Keeping Digital Foundation, we are no longer just looking at digital making.
We also organise York MakerFest, a large free event allowing people to make many projects with zero experience, family friendly and with plenty of volunteers, it allows us to train them and give them skills as well as a great reference.
Your money also will go towards supporting our free events, resources, education materials and e-safety support for all young people.
Every donation amount really does help, thank you!
