Goal

Thank you for helping us raise over $50,000 with our initial fundraising campaign! Our work is ongoing. The stray cat crisis on the island is overwhelming and your donations help us continue our work. Thank you!

The Kalymnos Cat Project is a volunteer program focusing on education and Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) to manage the overwhelming stray cat crisis on the island of Kalymnos, Greece. Your donation supports the purchase of traps, food and care for the animals, and veterinary bills.

The island has all the necessary ingredients to have a successful Trap/Neuter/Release (TNR) program: experienced volunteers and feeders to do the trapping and veterinarians to do the neutering. But we need FUNDINGWithout funding, we are unable to purchase the trapping equipment, pay the veterinary bills and provide food in the winter. Please help us with our ongoing need for funding so that we can continue our mission.

Want to support us after you return home from your amazing vacation on Kalymnos? Set up a recurring donation! This is a great way to support us year round!

There are literally thousands of stray cats needing help on the island.

Thank you for your support.

Thank you for your work. I was just on the island on a climbing trip. Although I love to see cats around and enjoyed petting friendly strays, I know their existence is precarious and we need this program. We saw a number of cats with clipped ears that show you're having an impact.

Thank you for your invaluable service to a country that sadly does very little to help the countless stray animals. I hope you also feed/help the cats at Akti beach near Vathis, as I didn't know beforehand to bring some food to them myself.
