As Chair of the Board, I am honored to request your support of Kalanidhi Dance, a gem among schools of classical Indian dance in the United States. The change we foster in our small corner of the world is extraordinary, encouraging the very youngest students of 4 and 5 years to those who are seeking to achieve the pinnacle of grace, stamina and beauty in Kuchipudi. In today's world, where youth endure loneliness and digital isolation, a dance class is more than its lessons and exercises, it is a safe space, a second home, a refuge.

Your gift to Kalanidhi is deeply valued and appreciated, regardless of size, because you are investing in building not only the strength and character of girls and young women, but also in reinforcing positive body image and in promoting self-esteem and confidence.

Kalanidhi looks forward to building on our tradition of being the standard bearer for Kuchipudi in the US. We will celebrate our Founding Artistic Director Srimati Anuradha Nehru in 2025, please stay tuned for details. 

Kalanidhi is offering an exciting performance schedule in 2025, including Bhoomi, an acclaimed original production from our repertoire, and performances by guest artists Amrita Lahiri and Harinie Jeevitha. We are able to offer a fascinating program with dancers of stellar quality because of your financial support, your presence at our events, and your engagement as ambassadors in the community.

As 2024 draws to a close, we ask for your kind and generous donation to help meet our year end goal of $20,000. 

We are asking for three quick favors:
