JUST ONE DOG: Husky puppy hit by car
Okay, here we go again . . . a non cocker spaniel in urgent need!
This skinny Husky puppy was hit by a car and arrived in the West Valley/Los Angeles animal shelter on July 5th. (we are wondering if she escaped during fireworks and that's how she was hit by a car?)
She has a "Femoral Condylar Fracture" on her rear right leg. She is non weight bearing right now and needs urgent surgery at a board certified surgeon. (possibly will need a pin to put the fracture back in place)
We know this isn't a cocker spaniel and so we must be able to raise the funds specifically for her so that no Camp Cocker funds will be taken away from the cockers that need our help.
We will be calling this fundraiser JUST ONE DOG because we believe that even though we can't save every dog in the shelter, we can make a difference for just one dog at a time, even when it's not a cocker spaniel.
She has a new name too, Jules!
Jules is scheduled for major orthopedic surgery on her knee on Saturday (July 15th) so we are on a race against time to raise all of the funds by Saturday morning!
