Goal

A team from JT Atkinson, alongside our amazing customers, is taking on a Coast to Coast Triathlon challenge to raise £30,000 in support of Zarach, a charity dedicated to ensuring every child has a bed of their own giving them the best chance at a good night’s sleep.

Over two days, the team will cover 226km (140 miles) of tough terrain, to raise funds for children living in poverty.

Day 1 - Saturday 13th Sept:
Cycle: Whitehaven to Keswick (50km / 31 miles)
Swim: Withesike to Barrow Bay – Derwentwater (1.5km / 1 mile)
Cycle: Keswick to Alston (75km / 46.5 miles)
Day 2 - Sunday 14th Sept:
Cycle: Alston to Newcastle (90km / 56 miles)
Run: Hadrian’s Path to Tynemouth Castle (10km / 6.2 miles)

Over 900,000 children in the UK are without a safe, comfortable place to sleep. Taking referrals from schools, Zarach provides beds, bedding, and essential resources to families facing poverty, helping to give children the best possible start in life.

Every donation, big or small, will make a life-changing impact. Please support us as we take on this challenge to help ensure no child has to sleep on the floor.  Donate today and help us reach our goal!

Zarach is a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) in England & Wales, number 1179539, whose registered address is 8 Whitehouse Street, Hunslet, Leeds, LS10 1AD.
