Journey to Bayern!

My name is Ellison Haynes. I’m 15 years old from Lafayette, La. I’m currently a varsity soccer player at David Thibodaux STEM Magnet Academy and a 3x National Player with LA Krewe Rush, formerly Cajun Rush Soccer Club. I’ve been playing soccer since I was 8 years old and my goal is to play at the highest level with a top European Soccer Club.

I applied to the FC Bayern Global Academy in Munich, Germany to train and intensively experience the FC Bayern training philosophy. FC Bayern is the most successful soccer club in Germany and is among the top soccer clubs in Europe and the world!

I was selected to be a participant in the inaugural FC Bayern Global Academy exclusively for players from the United States for the 2023/2024 season for eight (8) months, which will last from September 1, 2023 until May 31, 2024. This amazing opportunity will allow me to be fully immersed in the culture, environment, and training philosophy of such a well known and respected club.

I graciously ask for your support and donation to help defray costs associated with participation and travel. This amazing opportunity is not free and there are costs associated with training, educating, and housing me for the 8 months stay. I’m so excited to be selected and participating is a dream come true for me. 

Together with my parents, we are committed to our state and local community. I am definitely committed to improving my game and my dream of becoming a professional soccer player.
