The Jord's Rescue Journey

We’re working towards opening an animal rescue facility in Bulgaria, a safe place where animals can be cared for, treated and given a real chance at a better life. We’re building it step by step.

Chapter 1 — Helping Animals Now ✓

We’re rescuing and caring for animals as situations arise, providing food, vet care and emergency support.

Chapter 2 — Building the Foundation ✓

Jord’s Rescue is now a registered Bulgarian foundation, giving us the foundations to build something sustainable.

Chapter 3 — Securing Our Home ← WE ARE HERE

We’re currently raising funds towards securing a permanent premises for Jord’s Rescue.

We have been viewing potential properties, including a former dairy farm, but nothing has been purchased, signed or formally agreed.

Before committing to any property, we need to make sure it is suitable for the rescue, complete the necessary legal and practical checks, and understand what permissions or work may be required.

All funds raised towards a premises will remain dedicated to helping us secure and prepare a suitable permanent facility for the rescue.

Having our own dedicated space is still our next big step, but it’s important that we do this properly and responsibly.

Chapter 4 — The Future

With a permanent home, we can safely help more animals, expand our facilities and build towards long-term rescue, rehabilitation and neutering work.
