My name is Jocelyn Howard and I am running for Warren City Council At- Large. I have been a community advocate fighting for things that matter to you. I have organized community events, been involved with food drives, coat drives, City Clean-ups, racial reconciliation summits, tutoring, and mentoring, served as the Chairman of the Warren Planning Commission, and was recognized as an Outstanding Warren Volunteer. I am a small business owner and I have attained both a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree from Central Michigan University.

However, the concerns and desires of the citizens are not being addressed. I sat on the steering committee for the new Warren Master Plan, and you said you wanted a unified Warren, a walkable Downtown, more green space, trendy, more restaurants, progressive, and smooth roads. But why isn't this happening? Why aren't our concerns being considered? It seems that you and I are not being heard. This is the reason why I am running for City Council to be your voice, to advocate for the issues that are important to you, and to get the people's business done.
