JE Special Needs Fundraiser

Here are JE’s most acute needs this year, as we continue to serve over 700 in the

Jacmel community:

Making services possible

• We need roof repairs. Recent storms damaged the building and roof repairs are

important to protect vital electrical equipment. Approx. cost: $2,250.

Improving service quality

• We need more computers. The current, older models are dying. We need to get

enough (refurbished) computers so students in each class have access.

Approx. cost for 5 computers: $1,500 

Enhancing employees’ standard of living

• Two staff’s monthly salaries should be increased: Events Coordinator from $100 to $200/mo. and Admin. Assistant from $50 to $150/mo. Both work 6 days/week. Additional annual cost of these salary increases: $2,400.
