Jaxon MacDonald Foundation

JAXON Ambrose MACDONALD…born November 8 th , 2005. Jaxon changed more people’s lives than we will ever know. He has moved on to teach, help, influence, and save whomever he is meant to touch next in this world. Although he was only ours for 15 years, he impacted so many, young and old.

Anyone that knew him was amazed at his intellect, uniqueness, and his wealth of knowledge. Jaxon leaves behind his loving parents, Joey MacDonald (Sam) and Danielle Wilson (Braden). Jaxon was an older brother to Burke Creaser, Nova MacDonald, Jacey MacDonald. His second Dad, Ian Creaser. Grandparents, Ambrose and Doreen MacDonald. Janine Wilson (Roger). Dean Wilson (Lori). Valerie Paulson and the late Phil Creaser. Theresa Gallant, Great Grandpa Hank Kwasnitza. He will be missed by several aunts, uncles, and cousins from his MacDonald family on the east coast. Nova Scotia was a second home to Jaxon where he liked to spend his summers.

It’s comforting to know Jaxon’s last 4 days were spent with his Madge Lake family outside snowmobiling, and living life to the fullest; just as Jaxon always did. March 14, 2021 at 12:30 am was the start of a parent’s worst nightmare. Jaxon asked his mother to pick him up from a party a block away, and within minutes, he had disappeared. Over the course of the next 72 hours family, friends, Law enforcement, Search and Rescue, volunteers, and strangers came together in the search for Jaxon. There truly isn’t a vocabulary to express the gratitude for human hearts that worked in so many ways to help find Jaxon. There are even fewer words to describe the magnitude of sorrow that is felt by anyone that knew him. His warrior spirit will live on for the rest of time within those who loved him so deeply.

Jaxon loved sports. His teammates from hockey and baseball held a special place in his heart and became lifelong friends. His coaches had a great impact and influence in the man he was becoming. He was a high achiever academically and took pride in his grades. Eager to learn and challenging his teachers in every class with his endless questions and debates. Often times, becoming the teacher

himself.

Jaxon believed that one’s wealth of knowledge is discovered through adventure and travel; which ultimately provided him with the perspective on life that those around him admired. In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made in his honour to the soon to be registered, “Jaxon MacDonald Foundation”, where his legacy will live on and change so many lives.

I have never met Jaxon or his family, but his story has touched me in so many ways. Especially being a boy mom. I did not know this young man, but from the stories and the memorials today I have realized how incredibly special he was.

In Memory of Jaxon You are loved beyond words Our thoughts are with you Dani, Burke and the rest of the family. We hope in time, all of the good memories will comfort you. Jaxon only needed 15 years to have such a strong and significant impact on every single person he encountered. Even as a baby he held so much peace, comfort and kindness within him, and as he got older those aspects of him grew even deeper. He was a beacon of light that shed such positivity and love to everyone around him. From babysitting Jaxon, to dancing at the Stanley Cup party with him, to even the little wave and smile he would give as he took out the garbage in the condo complex we’re so grateful to have known him. A kind heart, and a precious soul. We’re all so lucky to have known you. Rest easy buddy.
