Jama Kehoe Bigger’s MWW Scholarship Fundraiser

For Scholarship Fund and to support MWW Author Events

Here’s my news: I am retiring as Director of Midwest Writers Workshop.

After 40+ years as part of the MWW family -- first as a participant, then presenter, planning committee member, and then director -- I am passing on my leadership baton.

And to give thanks and give back, I want to establish a Scholarship/Author Event Fund to continue to support writers as I was supported and encouraged.

Since 1973, The Midwest Writers Workshop has nurtured aspiring and accomplished writers to improve their craft and achieve their publishing goals in a welcoming community. That’s 50 years! Not only was my life changed by attending MWW, but it has impacted the lives of so many writers from all walks of life. Let’s keep it going for 50 more years!

As a cheerleader for writers, I give thanks to YOU for being part of the MWW community and believing in our mission. I give recognition to the writers I've met through the years who shared their journeys and their accomplishments, who dared to be brave with their creativity and visions. I appreciate all the faculty and board members and volunteers who worked to create programs that encouraged writers towards success.

If I've cheered for you, if you met me at a conference, if you want to support a great organization, please consider donating to this Scholarship/Author Event Fund.

Thank you, with all my heart. Read My love letter to Midwest Writers Workshop blog post at www.jamakehoebigger,com.

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, MWW is fiscally independent, which means that you can make a tax-deductible donation! When you support MWW, you're supporting a community of writers who create fiction, nonfiction, and poetry.
