To all the heroes of Ukraine

My grandfather survived the battle of Vimy Ridge in 1917 and taught his descendants well. I took my grandchildren to the Vimy memorial in July this year, an eye-opening expérience for them as I attempted to explain the history of ignorance and stupidity of governments. La plus ça change, le plus c’est la même chose. Kudos to Jake Broe for his tireless work.

I wrote the following some times now but I repeat it because I dont know if you have read it: In some years, after the war, I will visit Las Vegas because we will participate as a team from Hamburg at the Baker to Vegas run. Maybe there is a chance to meet you there :-).
