Contribution Rules
By clicking “Donate,” I confirm that the following statements are true and accurate:
1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (green card holder).
2. This contribution is made from my own funds and will not be reimbursed by another person or entity.
3. I am not a federal contractor.
4. I am at least 18 years old.
5. Americans living abroad may only contribute while physically in the United States.Â
Federal law allows individuals to contribute up to $3,500 per election to a candidate committee.
The primary and general elections are considered separate elections, so individuals may contribute up to $7,000 total ($3,500 for the primary + $3,500 for the general) even though an independent candidate does not participate in the primary election.
Contributions from corporations, labor unions, federal government contractors, and foreign nationals (non–green card holders) are prohibited.
To comply with federal law, we must make our best to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle.Â
All contributions are final. Refunds are only issued in the case of accidental duplicate transactions or technical errors.
