The California Transportation Foundation (CTF) funds its efforts with contributions from donors like you. Only with the generous support of our donors and sponsors for our annual signature events are we able to provide the financial assistance to workers injured on the job and families of workers killed in the line of duty. By supporting the CTF Injured and Fallen Worker Fund you are making a difference in the life of a family when the tragic news comes of an injured or fallen loved one. 

Donations to an individual injured or memorial worker fund are not tax deductible.

ABOUT THE JACQUELINE BALINGIT MEMORIAL FUND

Jacqueline "Jackie" Balingit, 48, a Caltrans District 4 Associate Governmental Program Analyst who was involved in a car accident and passed away from her injuries on August 16, 2024. 

When  Caltrans maintenance crew were asked for assistance to remove debris along Highway 280. Her husband, Chris and his crew were the ones that responded. To their surprise, the accident involved Chris' wife, Jacqueline. 

She leaves behind her husband Chris, her two sons, two daughters, and a grandson.

"Jackie was a woman of unwavering integrity. She approached her work with pride and dedication, always striving to do what was right, not just what was easy. Her sense of responsibility extended far beyond her duties; she cared deeply about the people she worked with, often going out of her way to ensure their well-being."

CTF will not be matching donations since her death was not work related. Donations to an individual injured or fallen worker fund are not tax deductible.
