For those who know me, you know about my deep connection to the Medway Village Food Pantry. I often share about the tremendous growth we continue to experience and the impact the pantry has on the community.

But I don't often talk about the impact the pantry has had on me. When I pause to reflect on what the Medway Village Food Pantry means to me, it's the incredible friendships I have developed with other volunteers as we work together in our shared mission of caring for our neighbors. It's the warm hugs from clients I have come to know as friends, the tears we shed and the prayers we offer together during difficult times, and the moments of gratitude and joy we share when good things happen.

At its core, the pantry to me is about human connection, kindness, and acceptance, and my life has been forever changed for the better because of it.
