The Medway Village Food Pantry has distributed 284,240 pounds of food and household goods in FY2024. We have experienced exponential growth over the last several years. In FY24, we had 26,182 client visits, up 31% from FY23.

We are a 100% choice pantry. This means our clients have a full shopping experience when they visit our pantry, and they may choose from a wide variety of items every week including shelf stable foods, frozen meats, fresh produce, eggs, cheese, breads, paper goods, toiletries, cleaners & detergents, diapers & wipes, and menstrual care products.

We are run 100% by volunteers, so with the exception of a few, small operating expenses, all of the funds raised will be used to purchase food, diapers, and personal care items to keep up with the demand.

Through giving we connect with people that are suffering from the difficulties of life. We also find comfort that we can ease the burden of financial disadvantage & language barriers. The MVFP doesn’t just help provide a nutritious meal in this chain of resources, it’s much more than just that. I have had the pleasure of getting to know tremendously dedicated volunteers & meeting and connecting with those in need. It has changed my life in many ways. I’m thankful for the opportunity I’ve been given to volunteer with an organization like the MVFP.
