It Takes a Crew: Support the Next Watch

As we look back on 2025 and ahead to 2026, we’re calling on our members, friends, and offshore community to join the Crew and help us carry the Storm Trysail Foundation across the finish line. Your support—at any level—not only fuels our mission, it strengthens the very community that keeps sailors safe, educated, and inspired.

This year, thanks to supporters like you, the Foundation proudly delivered high-impact programs that reached sailors of all ages and skill levels:

• Adult & Junior Safety-at-Sea: Over 500 sailors trained in seamanship, safety, and offshore confidence

• Community Sailing & Sea Scouts: 25 grants awarded, totaling $64,000 to programs expanding access to the water

• Intercollegiate Offshore Regattas:

  • Larchmont IOR: 49 teams / 350+ sailors

  • Great Lakes IOR: 14 teams / 100+ sailors

• Safety Burgee Program: 7 awards recognizing excellence in safety leadership across the sport

These accomplishments were made possible because It Takes a Crew—and now we’re asking you to be part of the next watch.
