IT'S BEYOND FOOD
IT'S BEYOND FOOD
The Corbin Hill Food Project, Inc. is entering a New Year, defining a new normal that goes well beyond the food. Who owns the land? Who grows the food? Who controls the distribution? And who does it nourish?
We are committed to co-creation solutions with our partners, from aggregation to distribution, working together to create a just and racially equitable food system built on sovereignty and shifting decision-making power.
However, responding to these ongoing challenges requires your ongoing support. Your contribution will enable Corbin Hill to further its groundbreaking work in Harlem, the Bronx and Brooklyn with initiatives with WIC mothers, last mile delivery challenges that impact small organizations, and our work that goes beyond the number of meals served to implementing, such as a major demonstration on Food as Medicine with its long-term policy implications.
We count on your continued support to meet these challenges during the coming year as we continue to define what we mean when we acknowledge that there are but 139 Black Farmers among the 57,000 in New York State and that it's beyond food.
