Goal
Did you know that over 129 million girls around the world don’t have access to education? Something that we take for granted everyday is a life-altering privilege for others. Kurandza (https://www.kurandza.org/) is one of those amazing organizations that helps and empowers young girls in Mozambique by providing them with holistic education, empowerment tools, and community support. This September, I’m standing up for the girls who aren’t able to speak up for themselves. Together with Kurandza, I am raising funds to help support 250 girls to go back to school in Mozambique during the 2024 school year. Now I need your help! My goal this year is to raise $300 dollars during the month of September, that is ENOUGH to support SIX girls with an entire MONTH of quality schooling and holistic programming, OR provide an entire YEAR of quality schooling and holistic programming for ONE girl.
During the month of September, we hope to raise $150,000 in total to empower girls and women in Mozambique to be able to get an education, earn an income, raise healthy families, and uplift their community. Will you join me in helping to donate and/or spreading the word?
Here’s how you can donate:
Option One: DONATE through my donation page here for a chance to win amazing art prizes! For every $10 donation, you will be entered for a chance to win artworks or crafts made by me and my art friends. If you donate $20, it will count as TWO entries, and so on! Details will be announced soon on my Instagram page.
Option Two: DONATE directly on https://www.kurandza.org/istandforgirls and mention my name (Shelley Hanmo and/or Junonia Arts) in the comment section of the donation window. For every $10 donation, you will be entered for the giveaway. The more you donate, the more entries you will have for the giveaway!
If you’ve been wondering how you might be able to empower a girl, here’s your chance!
Thank you in advance for your time and support! It means a world to me, and I know it means a world to those young girls in Mozambique!
xoxo,
