I Stand For Girls

🤍 When you educate a girl, you empower her for life! 🤍 

Kurandza is an amazing non-profit organization providing support for programs and holistic education for young girls in Mozambique. I am so excited to join Kurandza's 6th annual global #ISTANDFORGIRLS fundraising campaign to support 200 girls and their families with new programs including financial literacy, holistic support, and business courses. 

I've been supporting Kurandza since 2017 and this cause is near and dear to my heart because seeing these girls grow up over the past few years has shown that education can truly make a difference in their lives. 

This month, I am helping Kurandza fundraise in order to provide more girls with access to a life-changing education. This September, I invite you to join me in helping Kurandza sponsor 200 girls back to school. My personal fundraising goal is $500 (or more!) so we can sponsor Ética with a full year of support. 

*UPDATE* We are now raising funds to sponsor TWO girls so we can send both Ética & her sister Pércia to school! Our new fundraising goal is $1,000 to be able to send them both back to school for a full year!

12-year-old Ética, a 7th grader, dreams of becoming a teacher, inspired by her love for learning and sharing her knowledge. Her dedication to her studies and her playful spirit combine to make her a natural leader among her peers. 

I've seen Ética grow over the years along with her 14-year-old sister Pércia. Before, they faced significant challenges in accessing education, but now, with your help, they are thriving in school, pursuing their dreams, and are in their 7th year of schooling through Kurandza. Pércia excels in the Portuguese language, while Ética shines in math. 

If we could send them BOTH to school that would be amazing! Let’s increase access to education and provide holistic programs to girls and their parents in Mozambique! ✨
