Two years ago, we started on the journey of self-funding, directing, and producing the first documentary feature film about women in the intelligence community. These women have served their careers from the shadows, have lived (and often written) history, and have seen corners of the world most of us can only imagine.
These are some of the most powerful women in the world, full stop. And their stories have never been shared before.
Since we began production, the landscape has shifted dramatically. Recent policy changes have hit home in very real, very personal ways. And this story has become more urgent than ever. Our film is not just a record of where we are by women who have studied the world—it’s an offering of possibility, hope, and a call to action for people to step into their own power.
This film is the butterfly effect made real.
Thanks to the community's incredible support at the end of last year, we raised enough funding to kick off the editing process, the biggest hurdle in post-production. We're thrilled to share that we’re on track to reach frame lock by the end of May.
Now, we’re raising $50,000 over the next 4 weeks for some of the most critical components of finishing this film: sound engineering & design, music composition, color grading, and visual effects. This next stretch is make-or-break, but we've managed to push this boulder nearly to the top of the mountain.
