The CVU Theater Upgrade Project is a multi-phase plan to modernize our aging theater technology and ensure every student performance, concert, and community event is experienced with professional-quality sound and video.
The District has generously committed to funding the first two phases of this work — replacing the audio DSP and control systems that serve as the heart of our theater’s infrastructure. These upgrades are already in motion and will bring immediate improvements to clarity, consistency, and reliability.
Now, we’re asking for your help to fund the final three components that will complete the transformation:
🎤 Podium Upgrade — $13,079
Includes new wireless microphones, a modern video switcher, and wireless presentation capability. This will make it easier than ever for students and guest speakers to present confidently on stage.
🎥 Video System Upgrade — $29,529
Our current system is outdated and no longer supported by the manufacturer. This upgrade will bring us into the modern era with an AV-over-IP system — ensuring high-quality visuals for performances, assemblies, and events of every kind.
📺 Pit Video System — $9,482
A new camera and display system to help our conductors and stage managers coordinate complex musical and theatrical productions with precision and ease.
Community Goal: $50,000
Every dollar helps us build on the District’s investment and ensures that the CVU Theater remains a creative, reliable, and inspiring space for years to come.
👉 Donate today and help us raise the curtain on the future of CVU Theater.
