Intsikelelo: COVID-19 Community Support

We’re launching this fundraiser to support our community-led initiatives across South Africa.

As schools re-open, we want to ensure our students return to school with confidence knowing they have the supplies they need to stay safe amid COVID-19.

This campaign will fund items requested by our local partners, such as:

• Masks, thermometers, hand sanitizer, and nutrient-rich porridge for immunocompromised individuals
• Financial assistance for rent, food, personal hygiene products, transport, airtime, and data for vulnerable students

Where possible, we will be purchasing these supplies from local, black-owned businesses.

As COVID-19 is spreading into vulnerable, underserved communities, your support could help save lives. 

We are fortunate to collaborate with dedicated community leaders who are managing efforts to support the most vulnerable members of their communities. Our students are leaders within their families and communities, and we are eager to support them and ensure their opportunity for continued academic success.
