The streets of Gaza, once filled with the warmth of Ramadan gatherings, now stand in ruins. The sound of children laughing has been replaced with the echoes of hunger and grief. Families who once broke their fast with loved ones now sit in the dark, unsure where their next meal will come from.
💔 As of February 2025, over 48,000 Palestinians have lost their lives, and more than 110,000 are wounded. Women and children make up a devastating portion of the casualties. The suffering is unimaginable, yet the world moves on.
🔴 1.1 million people in Gaza are facing extreme food insecurity. There is no clean water, no steady food supply, no medicine for the sick, and no power to keep hospitals running. In this blessed month, while we break our fasts with ease, our brothers and sisters are breaking theirs with nothing.Â
At Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, the only hospital still operating in the area, was raided and staff were reportedly forced to evacuate to destroyed and non-functional Indonesian Hospital where it is almost impossible to provide any care, while the majority of the staff, stable patients and companions were moved to a nearby location. -Â World Health Organization.
