In Memory of Wendie Batho
Wendie Batho was a deeply compassionate and visionary woman whose life touched so many in profoundly personal ways. She was a beloved partner, sister, godmother, granny confidant and dear friend—someone whose warmth, wisdom and quiet strength will be remembered always by those who knew and loved her.
As co-founder of the Quest for Life Centre alongside Petrea King, Wendie helped create a place of healing, connection and transformation for people navigating life’s most challenging times. Her belief in the human capacity to heal, and her dedication to creating a safe and nurturing space for that healing, has left an enduring legacy.
That legacy lives on not only in the thousands of lives touched through Quest’s programs, but in the kindness, presence and care she brought to her relationships every day.
For those who wish to remember Wendie with a contribution to the Quest for Life Centre, we welcome a donation in lieu of flowers. All donations will go to the Wendie Batho Memorial Fund to support people attending programs at Quest.
Through this fund, Wendie’s spirit of generosity and compassion will continue to support others on their journey toward wellbeing—something she gave her life to with great love.
