In Memoriam of Melvin Morrison
Melvin Morrison, Executive Board Member and officer of the Pre to Post Transplant Foundation. Melvin was a double lung and kidney transplant recipient and was a wonderful ambassador and advocate for organ donation. He made a positive impact on the kids he taught and coached throughout his career. Melvin dedicated his life to raising awareness about the need for organ donation and provided himself as an example of what the gift of life means to those waiting for a second chance. The Pre to Post Transplant Foundation will carry on Melvin's spirit of service and will miss him dearly.

On behalf of the Kempner Coaching Staff for the love of our beloved dedicated Coach Morrison, we honor and cherish every moment we and our students had with you! From the time I’d pick you up with the buggy because it was too far of a walk to the other end of the field to the many moments of hey coach I need…and your reply was always “I got you”…I already miss you knowing I’m not getting those affirmation messages or those white girl jokes. Miss you brother, coach sylvester
