In Loving Memory of Ilene Harlicker

Ilene Harlicker was a tireless advocate for all animals. She became well-known for fostering cats and kittens, dedicating herself to their care until they could be placed in permanent, loving homes.

A staunch supporter of our shelter’s mission, Ilene partnered with us countless times. Whether community members reached out to her with a stray litter, or if cats were abandoned on her property, she never hesitated to step in and offer love and care.

Ilene loved animals with her whole being, and we were incredibly grateful for her passion and the gentle nature of her care. We are incredibly saddened to hear of her passing.
